Here I go

Well, I started this thing everyone is doing now, A blog, my own blog; we'll have to see how things go since most of my posts will have to be done during nap times and or when the girls are asleep. I have to tell you though, I'm not sure why, but for some reason my brain stops to function in English towards the end of the day. So many times I mean to say one thing but other random stuff comes out... So please be patient and if something sound kind of funny, that's my reason.

On a different note, I've been working like crazy on my sewing and embroidery stuff. I remember not so long ago when I was working, how I wished that I could be a sewer in a different life, now that I'm doing it is kind of crazy but I really love it!

Some of the stuff I've been working on includes this cute little doll outfit. It is a set I made from a Simplicity pattern 3895. I already made two, I'm almost done with my third one. I made one for Piper, and one for Miyah. The last one I'm working on right now I intend to add to my etsy store http://www.labeba.etsy.com/ I would tell you to go check out the page, but the only problem is that I haven't posted any items there yet. Give me a few days to do so, ok.

This right here is an apron I made for my friend Stacy, actually, it's a ready made apron; I simply added the embroidery design to it. If you can't see the lettering all that good on this picture, it says 'Domestic Diva' right under her name. Although her husband is really the one with that title at her house. LOL.

I also made a cute little stuffed Elephant for Maddox, Stacy's son. Amira (my daughter)named him Elphie. I used the pattern from the coolest book "Sew Everything Workshop" by Diana Rupp. I love it! I think he came out very cute. I hope that Maddox likes it and it becomes one of his favorite toys. My daughter wants me to make one for her in pink color. I'll have to post it when I make it for her.

Here's Elphie enjoying the sun and great Texas weather!
